Joe Fenski and his wife, Lori, opened Fenski Automotive Center in June of 2004, the culmination of Joe’s decades of experience working as a mechanic and a leap of faith. The Fenskis started the shop because Joe saw a need for honest auto repairs done at a fair price. Friends and neighbors in Sugar Hill had expressed how badly they would be treated at auto repair shops, and Joe knew they were getting charged for work that was not done. Today, Fenski Automotive Center is known as an honest, straightforward auto repair shop with a family feel. We also offer the best warranty in the business.

We deliver this by providing superior automotive services and customer service that exceeds expectations. Our team of automotive professionals are dedicated to exceptional auto repair and service, aimed at fostering enthusiasm and loyalty.

It is our pleasure to educate drivers about the condition of their vehicles and to advise them on the best auto repair and maintenance options. All our mechanics are ASE certified and undergo continuous education and training to say current in our industry. Likewise, all our labor and parts are backed by industry-leading warranties that protect car owners.

Meet Our Auto Repair & Service Crew

  • Joe Fenski – Owner
    Joe FenskiOwner

    Owner Joe Fenski had an extensive background in auto mechanics and fleet maintenance before he decided to open Fenski Automotive Center. Joe was a construction equipment mechanic and supervisor during a six-year enlistment in the US army. Then, he was a supervisor and mechanic for UPS for 15 years. While at UPS, he developed and implemented service schedules and routine repair procedures. Joe was also recognized many times for his outstanding effort and unequaled achievement as a mechanic for UPS.

    Joe took his knowledge of mechanics and maintenance—along with his ASE Master Automotive Technician Certification—and started a company called On the Spot in 2001, providing mobile auto repair. After realizing he could better serve his customers from a permanent address, he opened Fenski Automotive Center right here in Sugar Hill in June 2004.

    Joe prides himself on his ability to help customers get 300,000 useful and enjoyable miles from their vehicles. He understands the value of preventative maintenance and strives to offer informative, educated, and valuable automotive consultation to his customers.

  • Lori Fenski – Owner
    Lori FenskiOwner

    Joe’s better half came to Fenski Automotive after a 20-year career as a designer of printed circuit boards. She manages all the accounting and helps with the marketing and legal aspects of the shop. While she has never been involved in the automotive field, she has learned quite a bit by working at the shop full time.


  • Jimmy Saxon – Sales Manager
    Jimmy SaxonSales Manager

    Jimmy has been in the automotive industry for 12 years. He was a technician for several years and then moved into management and customer service for the last seven years of this career. Growing up, Jimmy always liked cars and was fascinated with how things went together and how everything worked together. As a Sales Manager, he enjoys guiding people through the process of having their vehicle repaired and wants to be a positive influence in the automotive industry.

    When not at work, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and their two dogs and two cats. He enjoys hunting, gaming, building things, watching movies, listening to music, and being outdoors in general.

  • Eden Valencia – Service Advisor
    Eden ValenciaService Advisor

    Eden has worked in the automotive industry for six years, starting as a technician and working his way to sales. Outside of work, Eden enjoys spending time with his wife and family. Eden has three dogs and one cat. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping.


  • Eric Radford – Technician
    Eric RadfordTechnician

    With over 15 years invested in the auto repair industry, Eric is our skilled lead technician at Fenski Automotive Center. He is an excellent mechanic, as well as a very proficient welder with an eye and ear for fabricating custom exhaust systems. Eric is a hard worker who enjoys building relationships with the owners of the vehicles he is repairing. For Eric, being an automotive technician is a very rewarding career, one that he feels God has called him to do.

    Eric is ASE certified in engine repair, suspension and steering systems, and brake systems. He has been an employee of Fenski Automotive center since we opened, and we are very blessed to have him.

    Eric is married with three children and loves his family very much. In addition to fixing things, Eric enjoys listening to music. He is a member of Brown’s Bridge Community Church.

  • Justin Matos – Technician
    Justin MatosTechnician

    Justin has been in the auto repair business for several years now. He came to us from the Maxwell High School internship program. Outside of work, Justin enjoys time with his dog and spending time with friends. Justin enjoys working on his 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle, building computers, and video games.
